Hapa Girls began as a hobby back in 2009 when my daughter was 2 years old and still taking naps. My daughter is now 7 years old and Hapa Girls is no longer just a hobby, it is my passion.

 

My Creative Process...

I am truly inspired from my everyday experiences and the beauty of nature that surrounds me. As an artist, I not only have an eye for the aesthetic qualities of art, but I also have a desire to share my emotional experiences through the pieces I create.I love the fact that I can create a piece of jewelry from my own joy or heartbreak and someone from across the world will contact me and say how much that piece means to them. Finding commonalities as human beings through art does not only bring me joy, it also makes my soul smile. If I can reach out to someone through my work, I'm on the right path in my life...

 

Everyday is a Journey...

I absolutely love being able to wake up every day, make my espresso, walk my daughter to school and come home to my studio. Though I tell people I work from home, I really do not consider what I do "work". I feel when you get so much enjoyment from something you are passionate about, you don't have to work at it, it comes naturally.I love what I do and will continue to create wearable art as long as the passion is within me.
